ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
• We have a variety of team building and adventure activities on site. Please find examples hereafter
• We have found that the casual, outdoor type of venue we offer is conducive to teambuilding and de-stressing. Please would you advise your delegates to dress casually. We have had “high heels” etc. in the past, where some persons have not been informed, which has resulted in discomfort. Please supply a full list of names of all persons and your preferred room allocation for each person.

No person under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to partake in adventure activities and will still be charged for the activity booked.

Please note numbers for various activities cannot be changed at the last minute or cancelled as we employ guides for specific activities as arranged by you on booking.

Activities Rates: prices subject to change
• Abseiling         R140 pp
• Canoe trails    R  80 pp
• Paintball          R 70 - R150 pp (dependant on number of balls used)
• Quad Biking:
20 minute  @ R 110 pp (twenty minutes to half hour beginners trip)
1 hour trip @ R 250 pp  
2 hour trip @ R 350 pp
GAME CAN BE VEIWED ON THE QUAD BIKE TRIP.
• River Cruise. (Duration, 1 ½ to 2 hours) (DEPENDING  ON TIDE) @ R70 pp. Minimum persons 20 i.e. Minimum charge R1400 Maximum 30 persons.
• Obstacle course @ R95 pp 
• Archery R110 pp
• Pellet Gun Target Shooting R 60 pp
• Teambuilding  Activities R150 pp Various activities.

Within this framework of activities we can do: -
• Orienteering / Hiking trails.
• Provide a clinical Psychologist – an extra expense involved.
• Put a combination of games together involving abseiling /quads /obstacles /canoes etc.
• Go to beach on the cruiser for touch rugby or just to swim
• We can go basic “budget” or the “full works” dependant on your Budget. We have organized mini” amazing races “and “survivor “type activities.
• Please feel free to come and visit the resort, so that you can see the set up for yourself.

CONDITIONS
THIS IS AN ENQUIRY ONLY

• IN ORDER TO MAKE A BOOKING  A DEPOSIT OF 50% OF COST IS PAYABLE IN ADVANCE – ONCE YOU HAVE DECIDED ON MEALS D AND ACTIVITIES A PRO FROMA INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU IN ORDER FOR YOU TO MAKE A 50% DEPOSIT. THE BALANCE IS DUE A WEEK PRIOR TO FUNCTION DATE.
• SHOULD WE NOT RECEIVE A 50% DEPOSIT YOU DO NOT HAVE A BOOKING.
• BAR BILL MUST BE SETTLED DIRECTLY WITH RESTAURANT BEFORE DEPARTURE. AS WE HAVE A FULLY EQUIPPED AND LICENSED BAR , GROUPS MAY BRING NO ALCOHOL INTO OR OUTSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM, RESTAURANT, BAR AREA OR BRAAI FACILITY. SPECIFIC BAR NEEDS MAY BE REQUESTED BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.
• ANY BREAKAGES/DAMAGE TO PROPERTY MUST BE PAID FOR.
• FINAL CONFIRMATION ON DELEGATES NEEDS TO BE CONFIRMED IN ADVANCE.  SHOULD NUMBERS BE REDUCED AT SHORT NOTICE THE CLIENT WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT .
• CANCELLATION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS
30% of total confirmed rate if cancelled 4 weeks prior to arrival
50% of total confirmed rate if cancelled  02 weeks prior to arrival
100% of total confirmed rate if cancelled 7 days prior to arrival
• THE PERSON IN CHARGE/ RESPONSIBLE WILL BE THE LAST TO VACATE THE PREMISES, HAND IN KEYS AND MAKE PAYMENT OR ARRANGEMENT THEREOF WITHIN OFFICE HOURS .
• THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXPEL ANY PERSON FOR MISCONDUCT OR UNRULY BEHAVIOUR WHILE ON AREENA RESORT PROPERTY.
• THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF OF AREENA RESORT CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY SUSTAINED BY ANY PERSON WHILST ON AREENA RESORT PROPERTY.
• BOOKING IN TIME FOR ACCOMMODATION NOT BEFORE 3 O’CLOCK, DEPARTURE TIME NOT AFTER 10.30 AM UNLESS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE OFFICE. NO ARRIVALS AFTER 8PM.
• FINAL NUMBERS FOR MEALS SHOULD BE FINALIZED 48 HRS BEFORE THE MEAL IS TO BE SERVED. SPECIAL MEAL REQUESTS, I.E. VEGETARIANS, ETC. MUST BE CONFIRMED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE NUMBERS FOR MEALS.
• THE RATES QUOTED DO NOT APPLY TO HIGH SEASON PERIODS OR LONG WEEKENDS
