National Braai day was celebrated by a great group of people out at Areena.

The spits started at 9am on Saturday morning and were cooked to perfection by 6pm that evening, absolutely tender and tasty. Served along with the meat was delicious salads, potato bake, four huge fish caught and prepared by two of our club members, pap & sauce and the most scrumptious homemade bread which was provided by Kiki and Desiree at the Areena Quays Restaurant.

So the zip lines have been quite a hit, taking up most of the guide’s time which is awesome!

Even Abby was trying to join in the action this past weekend. Seems he didn’t hear that you needed a harness if you wanted to zip. He just hung around running from zip line to zip line to meet up with everyone. Obviously some of them where quite difficult for him to just run from one end to the other, but he’s smarter than your average Giraffe. Just when you think you won’t see Abby; there he is!

The clubhouse has just undergone a major facelift and is definitely the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding, just in time for our bumper wedding month of October.
