The time has come to bid a sad farewell to Heather at the Areena Quays Restaurant. Over the past three years, Heather has build up a cult following with her superb Sunday lunch buffet. She has been responsible for all conference and wedding catering and received many compliments. Her friendly and happy face has been such a joy to us all at Areena and all the holiday makers, and will be greatly missed.

Hi my name is Chelsea, in case you have been wondering; I am the new guide at Areena, from Durban. I’ve been here just over two weeks now and enjoying every bit of it. I came down to the Wild Coast for a new experiences and that is all I’ve been having! Meeting loads of cool new people and learning a lot about the great wildlife you guys are fortunate to have on this side of the coast.

“We were originally restricted to 80 entrants but by the time race day came we were up to 95 and unfortunately had to turn some riders away.  In keeping with the Woman’s Day celebrations we gave the ladies a 30 second head start and we even had two riders dress up as “pretty ladies” and they were rewarded with a KFC voucher for their troubles … its hard work being a lady!
