My husband and I want to thank you for a wonderful weekend. Our first camping experience was fabulous! From watching the bird life to having his first canoeing experience and fishing off the jetty, my husband is hooked on camping. For me, the fact that my husband,  daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law were having so much fun, topped off all I could hope for. And then falling asleep in our tent with our tent flap open, looking out onto the river and being suprised by  Areena's owner's cat walking into our  tent, and climbing onto my chest and sleeping there, was purrfect! He slept with me the whole night. I have 7 cats at home, so felt somewhat honoured he chose me for company saturday night. Sunday's buffet was fantastic, and finally having to get in the car and drive back to Queenstown, was exceptionally hard to do. From our first experience of your Unisex ablutions, to being targetted by an ostrich, eating frozen caramel icecream cones, playing chess with my daughter by the pool, everything has ingrained our desire to do it all again, soon! Our first day visit on Saturday 11 September was remarkable. We engage on boat riding as our first experience and training we get from Areena reception team was just applicable. we are looking forward to visit again on Wednesday 15 September 2010 with team of 6 adults. myself and my brother will stay for two nights effective from 17 September to 19 September.

We will remain Areena Riverside Resort Club members for as long as we are in East London.

Wow, what a place! Nature pure, tranquility, safe. Just complete relaxation. A hidden gem in the most beautifull part of Africa. Can't wait to come again!

This part of South Africa is sadly not yet very well discovered by the European traveler. A shame, if only they knew.

Thank you for an absolute fantastic December holiday. Areena is defenitely the best caravan park we have visited. Management and staff are very helpfull. The park is very well maintained at all times. And not to mention Heather's restuarant and pub with awsome food and service, at such reasonable rates. (Please convey this message to her)
